He earned an M.B.A. focusing on Management of Innovations and Strategic Marketing in 2004 while studying at the Technical University of Berlin, University of California, Berkeley, and Florida Atlantic University. Prior to sMeet, Daniel was a Senior Consultant at Prof. Homburg & Partner - a strategy consulting boutique specializing in Marketing, Sales, Pricing, and Market Research – servicing fortune500-companies globally. His complete career background is dominated by consulting positions at companies like Corporate Value Associates, BBDO Germany, et al.

Daniel enjoys playing basketball, reading non-fiction literature, spending time with family and friends, and recently started playing the piano.
