  Julie Hochheiser
Senior Web Editor
Seventeen.com
As the senior web editor at Seventeen, Julie works with both the web and edit staff to develop exciting, original, and interactive content for an online teen audience. She also works to seamlessly integrate the voice and content of the magazine across the brand’s platforms. Additionally, Julie works with Hearst Digital Media to assist in the development of content across the Hearst Teen Network. Julie attended the Boston University College of Communication. She had PR and marketing internships with America Online, Inc., National Public Radio, Disney, and People Magazine. After graduation from BU, Julie officially entered the online world as an online editor for AOL RED, America Online’s teen channel, where she worked as a blogger and on-screen personality who wrote about movie news, reviewed films, and appeared on the red carpet at major movie premieres. In March 2006, Julie moved to New York City to start as the senior associate Web editor at seventeen.com, the website for Seventeen magazine and the number one teen magazine website. After one year and one giant redesign, she was promoted to senior web editor. As senior web editor, Julie launched the much-buzzed-about Editor’s Assistant Game and continues to love creating and writing content for teen girls.
